# Timedash Widgets vs SNIP

The clearest difference is monetization model: SNIP at free against Timedash Widgets's free with in-app purchases. SNIP also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 59%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Timedash Widgets's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (74 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timedash Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SNIP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timedash Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timedash Widgets has 74 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Timedash Widgets's written reviews are positive against 81% of SNIP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timedash Widgets ships an update fortnightly, SNIP every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
