# Snikket vs FluffyChat

The clearest difference is update cadence: FluffyChat at monthly against Snikket's every 7 months. FluffyChat also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (102 vs 18). Snikket's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 48%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FluffyChat holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FluffyChat has 102 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Snikket's written reviews are positive against 48% of FluffyChat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Snikket ships an update every 7 months, FluffyChat monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
