# Next Icon vs Quick Icon

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Next Icon at 468 against Quick Icon's 1. Next Icon also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Quick Icon's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Quick Icon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Next Icon has 468 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Next Icon ships an update every 2 weeks, Quick Icon every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
