# ZoetisDx vs Vetool

The clearest difference is rating: Vetool at 3.0 against ZoetisDx's 2.3. Vetool also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). ZoetisDx's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vetool holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZoetisDx has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ZoetisDx ships an update every 5 weeks, Vetool every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
