# EduKid vs ABC Jump

The clearest difference is rating: EduKid at 5.0 against ABC Jump's 4.2. EduKid also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). ABC Jump's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 4) and update cadence (every 9 months vs every 27 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EduKid sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ABC Jump sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EduKid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Jump has 2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of EduKid's written reviews are positive against 91% of ABC Jump's.

EduKid ships an update every 27 months, ABC Jump every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
