# Live Wallpapers vs Widgets 27

The clearest difference is rating: Widgets 27 at 4.6 against Live Wallpapers's 3.0. Widgets 27 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 6). Live Wallpapers's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Wallpapers sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Widgets 27 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widgets 27 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widgets 27 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 40% and 41% positive.

Live Wallpapers ships an update every 3 weeks, Widgets 27 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
