# RemNote vs Membr

The clearest difference is update cadence: RemNote at every 3 days against Membr's every 3 weeks. RemNote also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 3). Membr's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RemNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Membr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Membr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RemNote has 1.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of RemNote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Membr's.

RemNote ships an update every 3 days, Membr every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
