# RemNote vs Knowt

The clearest difference is update cadence: RemNote at every 3 days against Knowt's weekly. RemNote also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 62%). Knowt's advantage is chart position (#88 vs unranked) and ratings volume (11K vs 1.7K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RemNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Knowt sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for RemNote against 4.7 for Knowt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knowt has 11K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of RemNote's written reviews are positive against 62% of Knowt's.

RemNote ships an update every 3 days, Knowt weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
