# RemNote vs Knowkard

The clearest difference is update cadence: RemNote at every 3 days against Knowkard's every 2 weeks. RemNote also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 1). Knowkard's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RemNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Knowkard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knowkard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RemNote has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RemNote ships an update every 3 days, Knowkard every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
