# RemNote vs Memo AI

RemNote and Memo AI both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Memo AI's written reviews are positive against 73% of RemNote's. RemNote's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RemNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Memo AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memo AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RemNote has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of RemNote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Memo AI's.

RemNote ships an update every 3 days, Memo AI every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
