# RemNote vs StudiesTimer

RemNote and StudiesTimer both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of StudiesTimer's written reviews are positive against 73% of RemNote's. RemNote's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RemNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and StudiesTimer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudiesTimer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RemNote has 1.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of RemNote's written reviews are positive against 100% of StudiesTimer's.

RemNote ships an update every 3 days, StudiesTimer every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
