# Bible App vs Record Lectures

The clearest difference is rating: Bible App at 4.9 against Record Lectures's 4.5. Bible App also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 61%) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 167). Record Lectures's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible App sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Record Lectures sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bible App holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible App has 1.3K ratings behind it against 167, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Bible App's written reviews are positive against 61% of Record Lectures's.

Bible App ships an update every 3 weeks, Record Lectures weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
