# AgResource vs FARMCON

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FARMCON at none against AgResource's 5. AgResource's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AgResource sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $80.99 per month. FARMCON asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for AgResource against 5.0 for FARMCON. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AgResource has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AgResource ships an update every 2 months, FARMCON every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
