# Mindist vs Higher Self

Mindist and Higher Self both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 91% of Higher Self's written reviews are positive against 58% of Mindist's. Mindist's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (311 vs 41). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindist sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Higher Self sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $22.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Mindist against 4.8 for Higher Self. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindist has 311 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Mindist's written reviews are positive against 91% of Higher Self's.

Mindist ships an update every 8 days, Higher Self every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
