# Prodrafts vs Secret Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prodrafts at every 3 days against Secret Diary's every 3 months. Prodrafts also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 1). Secret Diary's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prodrafts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year and Secret Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secret Diary holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prodrafts has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 70% and 70% positive.

Prodrafts ships an update every 3 days, Secret Diary every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
