# Prodrafts vs Freenotes®

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prodrafts at every 2 days against Freenotes®'s weekly. Prodrafts also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 60%). Freenotes®'s advantage is ratings volume (63K vs 3.9K) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prodrafts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year and Freenotes® sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Prodrafts against 4.7 for Freenotes®. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freenotes® has 63K ratings behind it against 3.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Prodrafts's written reviews are positive against 60% of Freenotes®'s.

Prodrafts ships an update every 2 days, Freenotes® weekly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
