# ABC Observe vs PsychWatch

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ABC Observe at 36 against PsychWatch's 2. ABC Observe also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). PsychWatch's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC Observe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PsychWatch sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PsychWatch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Observe has 36 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ABC Observe ships an update every 5 weeks, PsychWatch every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
