# Halara vs Herbishh

The clearest difference is monetization model: Herbishh at free against Halara's free with in-app purchases. Halara's advantage is ratings volume (59K vs 38) and chart position (#68 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Halara against 4.8 for Herbishh. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Halara has 59K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Halara ships an update every 3 weeks, Herbishh fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
