# Wix vs Skool

The clearest difference is monetization model: Skool at free against Wix's free with in-app purchases. Wix's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#143 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wix ships an update every 9 days, Skool every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
