# Wix vs Heirloom

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Heirloom at 100% against Wix's 19%. Heirloom also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Wix's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 1) and chart position (#138 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Heirloom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wix has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of Wix's written reviews are positive against 100% of Heirloom's.

Wix ships an update every 9 days, Heirloom every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
