# ViceGuard vs AWA Events

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AWA Events at none against ViceGuard's 1. AWA Events also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). ViceGuard's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ViceGuard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. AWA Events asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ViceGuard against 5.0 for AWA Events. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ViceGuard has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
