# ViceGuard vs BagWatch

The clearest difference is update cadence: BagWatch at every 5 days against ViceGuard's every 7 months. ViceGuard's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ViceGuard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BagWatch sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ViceGuard ships an update every 7 months, BagWatch every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
