# Toby.Audio vs Darbuka Beats

The clearest difference is rating: Darbuka Beats at 4.7 against Toby.Audio's 3.8. Darbuka Beats also leads on ratings volume (47 vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Toby.Audio's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Darbuka Beats sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Toby.Audio asks for nothing beyond the download.

Darbuka Beats holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Darbuka Beats has 47 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Toby.Audio's written reviews are positive against 40% of Darbuka Beats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
