# MH World Database vs PalMap

The clearest difference is rating: PalMap at 4.8 against MH World Database's 4.0. PalMap also leads on ratings volume (236 vs 25). MH World Database's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (75% vs 62%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PalMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MH World Database asks for nothing beyond the download.

PalMap holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PalMap has 236 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of MH World Database's written reviews are positive against 62% of PalMap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
