# Passwords for Nextcloud vs abgehört

The clearest difference is update cadence: abgehört at every 3 days against Passwords for Nextcloud's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passwords for Nextcloud sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and abgehört sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Passwords for Nextcloud ships an update every 2 months, abgehört every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
