# PickLang vs CERT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CERT at none against PickLang's 3. CERT also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). PickLang's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 10 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PickLang sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. CERT asks for nothing beyond the download.

PickLang ships an update every 2 weeks, CERT every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
