# Surge Fun vs WWL Parade Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Surge Fun at 4.6 against WWL Parade Tracker's 3.9. WWL Parade Tracker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 24 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Surge Fun holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 93 and 60 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Surge Fun's written reviews are positive against 50% of WWL Parade Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Surge Fun ships an update every 24 months, WWL Parade Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
