# Magic Makeover vs Monster Transformer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Monster Transformer at none against Magic Makeover's 10. Monster Transformer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Magic Makeover's advantage is ratings volume (9.2K vs 3K) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Makeover sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Monster Transformer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Monster Transformer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9.2K and 3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Magic Makeover's written reviews are positive against 43% of Monster Transformer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Makeover ships an update fortnightly, Monster Transformer every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
