# 52outs vs Fly Challenge

The clearest difference is rating: Fly Challenge at 4.2 against 52outs's 3.5. Fly Challenge also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 12 months). 52outs's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 20) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fly Challenge sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. 52outs asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fly Challenge holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fly Challenge has 1.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 52outs's written reviews are positive against 27% of Fly Challenge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

52outs ships an update every 12 months, Fly Challenge every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
