# Task Manager vs Weekly

The clearest difference is ads: Task Manager at none against Weekly's shown. Task Manager also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Manager sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Weekly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Manager ships an update fortnightly, Weekly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
