# OneTodo vs Mood Board

The clearest difference is rating: Mood Board at 4.5 against OneTodo's 2.3. Mood Board also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (101 vs 3). OneTodo's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneTodo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Mood Board sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mood Board holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mood Board has 101 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of OneTodo's written reviews are positive against 56% of Mood Board's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OneTodo ships an update every 9 days, Mood Board fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
