# Ferromagnetic vs AV Synth

Ferromagnetic and AV Synth both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of AV Synth's written reviews are positive against 80% of Ferromagnetic's. AV Synth also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Ferromagnetic's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ferromagnetic sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and AV Synth sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Ferromagnetic against 4.0 for AV Synth. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ferromagnetic has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
