# Shelinks vs PaceGuru

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Shelinks at 100% against PaceGuru's 57%. Shelinks also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). PaceGuru's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.0) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PaceGuru sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Shelinks asks for nothing beyond the download.

PaceGuru holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Shelinks's written reviews are positive against 57% of PaceGuru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shelinks ships an update monthly, PaceGuru weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
