# Danube Home vs Optica Store

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Optica Store at 100% against Danube Home's 22%. Optica Store also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Danube Home's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Danube Home holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Danube Home has 779 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Danube Home's written reviews are positive against 100% of Optica Store's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Danube Home ships an update weekly, Optica Store every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
