# Chomog vs Seagull IM

The clearest difference is rating: Seagull IM at 3.6 against Chomog's 2.0. Seagull IM also leads on ratings volume (46 vs 1). Chomog's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chomog sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Seagull IM sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
