# HWT vs UHS Hardware

The clearest difference is rating: HWT at 5.0 against UHS Hardware's 3.4. HWT also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). UHS Hardware's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HWT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UHS Hardware has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
