# MathMaster vs Homework Helper

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Homework Helper at 67% against MathMaster's 31%. Homework Helper also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). MathMaster's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathMaster sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Homework Helper sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework Helper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MathMaster has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 31% of MathMaster's written reviews are positive against 67% of Homework Helper's.

MathMaster ships an update every 4 days, Homework Helper every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
