# PureLibro vs 开卷阅读

PureLibro and 开卷阅读 both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of 开卷阅读's written reviews are positive against 77% of PureLibro's. 开卷阅读 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.4). PureLibro's advantage is ratings volume (366 vs 44). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PureLibro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 开卷阅读 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for PureLibro against 4.7 for 开卷阅读. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PureLibro has 366 ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of PureLibro's written reviews are positive against 89% of 开卷阅读's.

PureLibro ships an update every 10 days, 开卷阅读 every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
