# Map Pilot Pro vs Tag

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tag at 100% against Map Pilot Pro's 65%. Tag also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Map Pilot Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (254 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tag holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Map Pilot Pro has 254 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Map Pilot Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tag's.
