# Hidee vs Blur Text

The clearest difference is rating: Blur Text at 4.7 against Hidee's 1.7. Blur Text also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). Hidee's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 20%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hidee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Blur Text sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blur Text holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Hidee's written reviews are positive against 20% of Blur Text's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hidee ships an update every 2 months, Blur Text every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
