# ParUp Golf vs Shot Pattern

The clearest difference is rating: Shot Pattern at 4.8 against ParUp Golf's 4.2. Shot Pattern also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 5). ParUp Golf's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and review sentiment (81% vs 67%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Pattern sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. ParUp Golf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shot Pattern holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Pattern has 2.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of ParUp Golf's written reviews are positive against 67% of Shot Pattern's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ParUp Golf ships an update every 3 weeks, Shot Pattern every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
