# Roast Party vs Wet Hoops

The clearest difference is rating: Wet Hoops at 4.7 against Roast Party's 3.8. Wet Hoops also leads on ratings volume (31K vs 9). Roast Party's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roast Party sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Wet Hoops sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wet Hoops holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wet Hoops has 31K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Roast Party's written reviews are positive against 70% of Wet Hoops's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roast Party ships an update every 4 days, Wet Hoops every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
