# THRST vs MyFitnessCompass

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyFitnessCompass at fortnightly against THRST's monthly. MyFitnessCompass also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. THRST sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month and MyFitnessCompass sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

THRST ships an update monthly, MyFitnessCompass fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
