# Blindmate vs A1Zap

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Blindmate at 183 against A1Zap's 13. Blindmate also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). A1Zap's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blindmate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.00 per month and A1Zap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Blindmate against 4.7 for A1Zap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blindmate has 183 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Blindmate's written reviews are positive against 100% of A1Zap's.

Blindmate ships an update every 9 days, A1Zap every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
