# Blindmate vs Munkki

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Blindmate at 184 against Munkki's 1. Blindmate also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Munkki's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blindmate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.00 per month and Munkki sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Munkki holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blindmate has 184 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Blindmate ships an update every 9 days, Munkki every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
