# OKR Tracking vs Octopus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OKR Tracking at none against Octopus's 9. OKR Tracking also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Octopus's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (58 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Octopus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. OKR Tracking asks for nothing beyond the download.

OKR Tracking holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Octopus has 58 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of OKR Tracking's written reviews are positive against 83% of Octopus's.

OKR Tracking ships an update every 21 months, Octopus weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
