# UnHerd vs Bohema

The clearest difference is ratings volume: UnHerd at 858 against Bohema's 4. Bohema's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UnHerd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Bohema sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bohema holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UnHerd has 858 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UnHerd ships an update every 2 months, Bohema every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
