# AddyManager vs black.com

The clearest difference is rating: AddyManager at 4.5 against black.com's 3.6. AddyManager also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (54 vs 9). black.com's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 48%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AddyManager sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and black.com sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AddyManager holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AddyManager has 54 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of AddyManager's written reviews are positive against 67% of black.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AddyManager ships an update monthly, black.com every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
