# Solstice vs Moonlitt

The clearest difference is update cadence: Moonlitt at every 11 days against Solstice's every 2 months. Moonlitt also leads on ratings volume (940 vs 80) and chart position (#89 vs unranked). Solstice's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 69%) and iOS requirement (18.5 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solstice sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Moonlitt sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Solstice against 4.7 for Moonlitt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moonlitt has 940 ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of Solstice's written reviews are positive against 69% of Moonlitt's.

Solstice ships an update every 2 months, Moonlitt every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
