# Superlist vs Capacities

The clearest difference is rating: Superlist at 4.5 against Capacities's 4.3. Superlist also leads on ratings volume (462 vs 116). Capacities's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 48%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superlist sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month and Capacities sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superlist holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 462 and 116 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Superlist's written reviews are positive against 58% of Capacities's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Superlist ships an update every 9 days, Capacities weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
